This weekend Mike and I traveled up the mountains near Santa Fe with Big Mack in tow. The drive up there was amazingly beautiful! It's soo nice to have an actual change of seasons. The colors were amazing and it was fun to explore! We can't wait to go up there when it snows!

It's been a while since a post and a lot has happened.
First, both Mike and I graduated from U of A in May!!!
Second, we lived with Mike's parents over the summer.
Third, Mike and I moved to Santa Fe where I got a job teaching High School Biology and Earth Science and Mike got a job fixing computers while he works on building his own business.
Unfortunately, over the summer we had to get rid of Hans Otto. He just didn't work out with our other mean cats.
We both love living here in Santa Fe. Especially the weather. We've had to have a few fires and the leaves on the trees are already changing colors! It's soo exciting. Mike's making great contacts and building up his rep with the peeps who need computer help. I'm getting more used to the schedule and working on being a better teacher. Things are going great and we love having the income! And Oct. 1st starts our health care coverage! It's amazing how much we have grown! Things are looking great!
One great thing about living in Santa Fe is all the great things that go on around here. We were able to take the train for really cheap to go into Albuquerque and go to the zoo! It was my first time every being on a train! Mike has been on many as he informed me about his trips in China, Germany, Italy, blah blah blah :) Just kidding. He's been on some great trips with some great experiences.
There's also some really neat things going on soon. The Balloon Fiesta, Arts & Crafts Fair, and I believe a pumpkin thing. Anyway, tons of things going on and hopefully I can keep up with them.

So, this weekend Mike and I were out shopping and running errands. When we went to the vet to get cat food we saw these two cats that were available to be adopted. One tried to latch on to us, the other was just chillin' on the ledge. Thinking not too much about it, we went around doing more errands. When we got to Petsmart, Mike was really talking about the cat on the ledge. After talking some more we decided to call and see what the vet required for adopting the cat. Well....the cat turned out to be a 2 year old, neutered male, completely up to date on shots and completely FREE!!! We immediately left PetCo (where we had ventered to after Petsmart) and went to see this cat. Turned out the cat was suited for our personalities (really independent and investigative, but doesn't scratch or hiss). So....we are now a 4 cat and 1 dog household! Here he is!!!
